On Thursday 14th March the current ESB MIM students visited the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim. After a short lunch in a nearby restaurant the students were welcomed by Daimler AG at their Untertürkheim factory. Mr. Hammer, from the visitor’s center, introduced the Daimler AG and especially the business division powertrain passenger cars to the students, before the group visited the assembly line for motors. Having received a lot of practical information about how the engines are produced, the students met Christine Kellermann, Key Account Manager for the Finance & Controlling part of the Daimler Top-Management-Program CAReer, Mr Lars Lesak, Key Account Manager for the Research & Development part of CAReer and Guiseppe Bellanti, an ESB alumni and current Finance & Controlling Trainee. Students had the chance to ask several questions to a former ESB student and the key account managers of CAReer about a possible career with Daimler AG. They received an interesting and broad insight into the daily life of a top-management trainee at Daimler.
